Is Fox News blindly racially insensitive, or knowingly indifferent?

Recently, Fox News has found a new hobby in covering the reactions of black communities all across America, to what we perceive as injustices committed against young unarmed black men by local authorities, and what we perceive as a failure of the "justice system" to even bother having a trial in the court of laws to determine whether or not the killing was justified.

A very easy argument can be made, that as these protests continue, Fox News (and for some weird reason Don Lemon), choose to focus most of their on air talk time with when things start going south, and people begin to riot and loot.

But why is the disdain so one sided?

This picture is THE=>
reaction to the=>
Ferguson protests in Rosebud=>
and Garland, MO.=>

When a handful of people in Ferguson started rioting and looting directly after Mike Brown's death, and during the midst of the mostly peaceful protests after a secret jury decided that Darren Wilson did absolutely nothing wrong, Fox News was enthusiastic to characterize the entire crowd of protesters as thugs, criminals and animals. But then when peaceful protesters walked from Ferguson to Jefferson City, MO, and had the unfortunate path of passing through Rosebud and Garland, MO, if they said ANYTHING at all, it wasn't "thugs", "animals", "criminals" etc. Why is that?

Another example.

When Cliven Bundy rallied a bunch of militia types from all around the country... ARMED militia men... men who spoke thusly:

"We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front. If they are going to start shooting, it's going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rouge federal officers."

- Sheriff Mack

So... these folks show up armed with military grade assault rifles, willing to have a shootout with the United States Federal Government, placing (I'm guessing) their wives and daughters in front of them, because some guy doesn't want to pay taxes, but they're not "thugs"? NO! In fact, several Fox News pundits, and even a few elected officials, labeled them PATRIOTS. Sean Hanitty assured Bundy that he would join him in his stand-off if shots were fired. Why aren't they "criminals", or "animals"?

Cliven Bundy has broken the law. Mike Brown broke the law. Cliven Bundy has stolen $1 million worth of taxes owed to the nation. Mike Brown stole $40 of cigarillos from a convenience store. Where's Fox's outrage?

When will America have an honest discussion about current race relations? How long is the mainstream media willing to pretend that everything is just fine?

I'm working to start that discussion, along with many more. Stay tuned.
